Be Motivated Series: Understand Nonverbal Clues by LaShawn Sithole

Welcome Back to the Be Motivated Series! Today's emphasis is on how well we can 'read' the nonverbal messages used in communication.  Since 93% of our communication is nonverbal (versus 7% being verbal), I found this to be extremely intriguing!

I would imagine the phrase "actions speak louder than words" got its beginning here. What we are 'doing' when we communicate often does just that. For instance, crossed arms can mean that you are not open to communicating or don't think very highly of the person speaking. There is much information available on this topic and I encourage you to read more about it.

Quote of the Day: "The Lord's light penetrates the human spirit, exposing every hidden motive." Proverbs 20:27
